New Beginnings

In this blog, I am documenting my life. I have come full circle, from trying to become a child of God to actually becoming one. It took me many years of self-deception and searching for something I could not describe to finally find Christ.

Praying for my neighbors

February 17, 2007
It had been a productive morning. Nobody came to my meeting; I called MOM, and she was not home, Mari was at Stater Brothers, and Nancy Baird probably forgot. But I got to talk with Billy Soto, who is a Christian, has learned about God’s name being Jehovah in childhood, who studied the Bible in California Men’s Colony, where they also have Watchtower Studies and all that as well. Praise God that he never went to any of them. I wonder if he knew Tom Sales. I don’t even know what time period he was in there. Tom was there in the late 80s and earllly 90s. Nancy Tourville was visiting Gracie’s Mom, but I talked to her daughter, Mary Jo. Nancy looks good, but her eyesight is failing, but she is still driving a car. She quit smoking, but that may not last. Mary Jo looks very good, but she needs understanding. I will be there for her. Jay is not going to be happy with me, but I am going to coordinate the people who have been mistreated in life, and get them together in this park.

I was telling Nita about Billy, and she said there is a program for biblical recovery which is in a lot of the churches around here and all over the world. I should tell him about it. She told me to look online for it, but I forgot the name she gave me. I will ask her by email tonight as soon as this thing connects.

She just told me that it is called Celebrating Recovery. I printed some of it out. It is good. I will show it to Billy on Saturday. Mari said that she might come to my meeting, but she was not sure. Her fiancée has to keep going to get his toe worked on. I am praying that they will be home. They have to go to Arrowhead, and now I know why God had me keep going there. He wanted me to see the garbage that my neighbors have to go through. God is giving me strength.
